ISABEL'S
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Isabel's Community Outreach (ICO) offers free education to the residents of Plano and surrounding communities. Our programs are designed to help men, women and children build self-esteem and a life of self-sufficiency. ICO is a non-profit 501(c)(3).

She was a nurse in her country. After learning English at ICO, she began studying to be an assistant in Optometry. She is currently taking computer classes at ICO to finalize her education. ICO has awarded partial scholarships toward her tuition.

Young person in an ICO family is a PISD high school graduate, and is now attending Medical Assistant school. “If it weren't for you pushing me, I never would have finished school.”

ICO student had cleaned apartments all her life. After attending English classes, and hearing others' success stories about earning better jobs, she was inspired to better herself. ICO helped her find a cosmetology school and enrolled her as a new student. She finished cosmetology school and hopes to own her own business. “I always wanted to do something else. I love it.”

The mission of the Board of Directors of Isabel’s Community Outreach, hereafter referred to as The Corporation, is to support said Corporation and its mission:
-To assist individual families in achieving a life of self-sufficiency, self-assurance and dignity
-To provide aid and emotional support to overcome immediate problems
-To teach basic and advanced living skills
-To coordinate delivery of other community outreach efforts
-To assist in the development of income producing skills
-Help to establish awareness of a wider world, and to develop leadership skills
